Dropdown / Autocomplete with Optgroups

Hello,

I’m searching for the the autocomplete/dropdown editor type added with optgroup, similarly to how select elements have optgroup functionality to split the select options into groups. Is this built-in in any way, or does anyone have an idea on how to go about this?

Hi @daveg
currently we do not have a similar option but it would be a great option especially for longer lists of choices. I’ll write it down as a feature request.
