[GH #7458] Stop Handsontable compressing whitespace between characters

Hi all,

When I enter this into a cell:

and press enter it displays with the whitespace compressed:

image

If I edit the cell, the spaces are back.

Is there a way to stop this behaviour?

This issue is a regression from v8. I’ve reported it to our Github board https://github.com/handsontable/handsontable/issues/7458 and will update you once we fix it.
