Hi @davbro80129

this issue is not a regression for v8.4.0. I have replicated it will all the newer and older versions of Handsontable.

I have investigated the issue and reported it on our official Github board at https://github.com/handsontable/handsontable/issues/8233

I will make sure to notify you once we fix it.
