For date column in filter by value can we show group by years like excel.
Can this be achieved by writing custom logic. Can you please suggest us how to achieve this.

At the moment, we do not have any public API that you can use to alter the list of choices within the filter by value. To achieve that, you’d need to close the p; again and then attach the custom logic (to be sure that you’ll be able to update to a newer version when it arrives).

Also, MS Excel and Google Sheets show the complete list of dates as we do.

In your excel your dates columns is type string if you change the type to dates it will automatically change to group by years for the date columns.
Hm… It seems that they lack this functioanlity in Google Sheets.
But I understand the need. That’s a quite useful change.
