To give you the bigger picture, we are attempting to use handsontable inside of a haml table, which for starters, is that possible?
After clicking on an icon (which is located in a row in the haml table), the handsontable displays, however, only the first column header appears. It is not until after I click or begin scrolling inside the handsontable, that the rest of the columns and rows appear.

That’s interesting actually. To build our previous website we used JADE which is similar to haml, but we haven’t come across any problems with that. You didn’t provide any live demo so I just assume that this page behaves correctly when you replace the code it with the native html (for instance, you could take the output html code and check if Handsontable works then). That’s just off top of my head, but I need to be 100% sure it’s haml that has some conflict with Handsontable, not some other part of your application.
