Japanese text on enter

Tags: #<Tag:0x00007f8b19973c30>

Hello,

I’m not sure if you can help, but I have a simple table (https://jsfiddle.net/namihihii/654sf1td/3/ )

Normally, when we input japanese text, a suggestion box will be shown (see attached photo - 2nd row)
If we then select one of the suggestion using the enter key, handsontable recognizes it as “enter” and it goes to the next cell below (see attached photo - 4th row)

I’m not sure if I was able to explain the situation well, but I need to be able to just press the enter key in the suggestion and not for it to go to the next cell. Do you have any idea how I can make that work?

Hi @namihihii

We are aware of this issue, it was reported here: https://github.com/handsontable/handsontable/issues/9586

It is already fixed and will be available in the next release. I’ll update you when the release will be ready.

Will wait for the update then.
Thank you so much!
