[PRO] Incorrect shadow position while dragging columns using ManualColumnMove

Tags: #<Tag:0x00007efc6ded6870>

Hello.

As you know, when dragging a column to change its position, we see a visual feedback (looks like a shadow) to know where we are moving it. But the position of that shadow is not correct when the browser is not normally zoomed (i.e. not 100%). So, when the browser is zoomed out, the shadow is shifted to the left, and when it’s zoomed in, the shadow is shifted to the right.

I’m not sure if this is the right behavior, because it doesn’t work well for some of my users, even if the browser is normally zoomed (100%). Maybe it happens to them because they are using high DPI screens and the browser is scaled automatically to something like 150%.

So, can you please tell me if there’s any way to fix it?

Also, note that the position is incorrect all the time in Firefox (even if the browser is at 100% zoom).

Many thanks in advance.

Hi @cloudwp-test
I think that this is the same issue that we have already added to our Github board:

Can you check it please?

Yes @aleksandra_budnik, it’s the same issue, but mine is for moving columns. Can you please tell me when it’s expected to be solved. This is a really important issue to me.
Thanks.

I guess that it can take a while as when it comes to zooming we have few other issues related. It is just a process that Handsontable does not fully support.
