The mergedCell data is shifting to pevious column, if we delete the merged column

Hi
I am facing a issue with merging of two or more cells in a same column. If we delete the merged column the merging will shift to the column which is before the deleted column

The above is a jsFiddle link u can try deleting any one of the columns b,e,g,i,k,m,o and the merging will shift to a,d,f,h,j,l,n respectively
