Using hidden indicators to unhide columns/rows

Hello,

I’ve been attempting to locate some functionality for the hiddenColumns & hiddenRows functionality.
Essentially, instead of using the context menu for showing previously hidden columns/rows the user should be able to press the hidden indicators which will reshow the columns/rows for that selection.

Does this functionality exist? Is there any alternatives that use a custom click event?

The indicators are static and serve just as a visual indicators. The only option I can think of is to create seperate button that will show hidden columns/rows. We have API for doing that:
